My Personal Testimony

Before coming to Christ I had very low self-esteem, as well as over the last few years I have struggled with addiction and ended up becoming the addict that i never wanted to become.

I remember a few years ago when I had 3 major surgeries to better my health. I became addicted to the pain medications and I did not realize how bad it was at the time or how low I had become.

Over the course of my addiction I had kept being told I should pray about it by my friends and family. One day I decided to sit down and truly ask God for help. After praying I felt calmer and as if I had become just a little bit lighter.

I am proud that I have accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. It makes me happy that I can learn and share the teachings of Christ with my daughters and my husband. As a mother knowing my children are learning about Jesus gives me hope.

I remember how unhappy and depressed I felt during my addiction. Since coming to Christ I am happier and more peaceful and actually feel positive about my future.

The life and gift that Jesus offers last forever. I know without a doubt in my mind that if I were to die today, that I'd be with God in heaven.
