My Personal Testimony

God has always been with me despite my tendency to try to control things myself. His unconditional love for me and forgiveness of my sins constantly renews my spirit and gives me the strength and courage to reflect and change in ways that will allow me to draw closer to him. He has been my hope and my constant comfort when times have been dark. Although I was baptized as a child, my baptism today is a way for me to express my gratitude for his patience and love and renew my commitment to his plan for me, whatever that may be.

I have made many bad decisions in my life and often felt trapped in my own unworthiness. He has seen me through these bad times and continued to reach for me. He has been my light when life has proved most difficult.

I am so thankful for his forgiveness and constant love for me. Although I am not worthy, he continues to wrap his arms around me and draw me close until I can be with him in Heaven.
