My Personal Testimony

Before eternal life i was depressed, confused, empty and self-centered.

When i was about 7 yeas old my oldest sister would take me and my siblings to church and it was at that time i knew i loved God. Then i grew up and got married.I no longer went to church and that's when i found myself living in total darkness. I was a very angry, self centered and depressed person. I always felt as if there was an emptiness in my heart that needed to be filled. I had a husband and Children i still had that sense of emptiness just this unsatisfied feeling. So I turned to drugs and alcohol thinking that was going to help me. NOT. One day I tried taking my own life and of course the doctors brought me back. I started to see a counselor for help for about 6 months give or take. In one of our sit downs he asked me if I attended church? I said "no" of course, and he said to me, "you know Jesus loves you right?" He left me with that thought. Maybe like 2 weeks after that i started attending church and on the 3rd week of going to church i gave my life to Jesus. Now not only do i have my husband and children love i have a much bigger family that loves me and cares about me. MY CHRISTIAN FAMILY. I can honestly say that the lord has given me peace, joy and so much understanding in life. Little did i know that all i needed was just to believe in God. That he gave us his one and only son who not just died for my sins but for everyone's sins. Now i have enternal life and i know that when i die i will go to heaven. I will be with the lord. I give all the praise, honor and glory to Jesus.

Then i started to be less empty inside, less angry towards life and others. My life started to change. I made the choice to receive eternal life.

Now that i have eternal life i no longer feel like i'm living in total darkness.

I know that if i was to be taken from this earth i will walk beside Jesus.

The full life that Jesus offers will last forever.
