My Personal Testimony - How I Learned to Put My Faith in Jesus Christ

Before I received eternal life, my life was empty and without purpose.

Sure, I was born with a privileged life. I had everything that a person could want in her younger years. But I was also spoiled and bratty, and without respect. When my mom died, everything started to spiral downwards. I was lost. I didn't know what to do. My mom was the anchor that kept me bounded to my faith. She was my best friend and my rock, so I didn't know how to go on and live my life without her. I started drinking heavily. I went clubbing a lot. I also entered into a relationship that did no good to me and which almost ruined me. I almost lost everything.

Then I met someone who shared with me how I can have eternal life.

Now that I have eternal life, I no longer feel empty and a lot in me has changed.

I met the person who was going to be the reason my life changed. She showed me that I can have a life outside of the vices that I'm used to. She brought me to church , and when someone took the time to share the Word of God with me, I realized that I had a purpose besides wasting my parent's money. I no longer drink. I no longer need a guy to validate that I'm worth something. I will always miss my mom, but I feel that God has shown me that I can bear that pain and learn from it.

I am now at peace with myself and I can say with confidence that I have eternal life and that I have a place in heaven.
