My Personal Testamony

Before I received eternal life I was empty and without purpose.

From the outside, it looked like I was successful. I graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in the top third of my class. I was an Airborne Ranger jumping out of planes in the middle of the night. I had a beautiful wife and a baby boy. Restless and looking for something more, I got out of the Army and went into food production management. I made lots of money, but I was still empty and without purpose. Depression and heavy drinking led me to attempt suicide. I left my family trying to "find myself" and eventually found another high-paying job to throw myself into. I made lots of money, but I was still empty and without purpose.

Then someone shared with me how I can receive eternal life.

Now that I have eternal life I am no longer empty and I found my purpose.

I have joy doing what I'm supposed to be doing. It's very satisfying.

Even better, I know that I have eternal life, and if I died today, I know I would go to heaven.
