My Personal Testamony
I now walk in the light with the knowledge of God's compassionate character.
Before I received Christ I was without hope.
I remember taking a handful of pills one day because I felt like I couldn't handle life's disappointments.
That night was hard, but it forced me to proclaim to God "if everything else in life leads me to disappointment, then God I only want to live for you."
Knowing Christ and constantly putting my hope in Him has been life-altering. I now have an object of hope that will not disappoint.
One day I found an old journal that contained my feelings before Christ and in reading that I could tell how much I had changed. I no longer had a disdain for life but rather love and zeal for it. My hopelessness had been replaced by the Joy of the Lord.
I neither mind death nor do I seek it. Because I placed my hope and trust in Christ I now walk in the light with the knowledge of God's compassionate and merciful character.
