My Personal Tesitmony
When I was 11-years-old, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Growing up, I was robbed of having a normal childhood; a normal life. There have been times when I have wondered and questioned why God has decided to punish me this way. However, I have learned that there is no other side I want to be on then on His side, with Him in my life. No matter what life may bring there is no other contentment and fulfillment than following a life with a God. And because of him I have able to achieve kings in my life that I thought would be impossible; like being able to hold my own child at all.
I am exceedingly glad I have God in my life because I have never felt a real, lasting peace and contentment in life and I know everything I have in my life I have because of Him and Him alone.
When I was 11-years-old, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Growing up, I was robbed of having a normal childhood; a normal life. As children my age ran to the playground, I had to sit and watch, while my tears slid down my cheeks over my aching joints that didn’t allow me to run, or jump, or climb without pain. As I started junior high, I watched all of the girls I grew up with blossom into these pretty young girls, with all the friends they ever wanted. While I sat alone, and swollen in extra weight from the steroids I had to take to be able to walk more then 10 steps without pain or be able to brush my hair in the morning. Aftwr I had my first child, I even had to struggle with holding her as she cried. There is no possible way for me to have a happy life if it weren’t for Christ leading my way. He has made all things possible for me in ways that I thought would be impossible for me. He has made my life worth living when I didn’t think it was.
I know I have eternal life and will be in heaven with God. He has shown me how powerful and wonderful he is constantly in my life. And there is no doubt that will do what I can to provide that same feeling of grace to others.
