My personal story

Before I received Jesus as my Lord and savior, I had heard the word "salvation" many times from most preachers of the word, but I didn't know what it meant exactly, and how important it is for me to have eternal life. I was just in the world, living my own life

I remember a time in my life when I went to a funeral for someone close, and the preacher said something significant. He said, if the brethren who had passed received Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was still alive, he would be with the Lord certainly. But if he didn't receive Christ as his Lord and Savior, he is going to eternal condemnation. When I got back home, this kept ringing in my head, and I got scared, so I said to myself, "What is life?" Is it about coming into the world to just journey through life, grow old, and die, and then the end? Is that it?

Then someone shared with me how I can receive eternal life

Now that I have eternal life, I have nothing to fear anymore; my past is gone, and a new life has begun!

God has given me peace over everything, and I'm no longer a slave to fear; the fear of the unknown is gone. My life is completely secured in God. Glory!!!

The full life that Jesus offers lasts forever. If I were to die today, I know for certain that I'm going to be with the Father in heaven
