My Personal Story
I once was lost but now I am found. Life as a Christian is hard, but I wouldn't want it any other way. For the reward at the end is worth far more than rubies and gold.
Before I received eternal life, I was a prideful person who was not truthful. I would make excuses for my actions and not hold myself accountable.
At work and home, I never liked to be wrong. I would not let my yes be yes and no be no. I wouldn't see how my actions affected those around me, especially the ones that I loved. It also put strongholds in my marriage. I was a hypocrite and did not do as I instructed others to do. I was good with using my words, but my actions never matched them.
Through my church and my wife, I then discovered how to have eternal life and wanted to make a change for the better. The spirit of Christ lives inside of me who helps when I am weak, speaks to God on my behalf, and helps me to know how to pray correctly.
Now that I know I have eternal life, I must fully submit to God. I know that He loves me no matter what and in order to get better, I must face my demons. I know that it may not turn out the way I would like in the end, but having salvation and knowing that Jesus is my Lord and Savior is all that I need.
No matter what the future holds for me with my career and marriage, I have a peace that only God can give.
Romans 10:9, If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Your testimony matters too
