My Personal Story
I no longer have to strive to be perfect. I now have peace because Jesus is perfect & He loves me.
Having a relationship with my Savior Lord, gives me such peace & hope knowing that He has a good purpose & plan for my life & that as I seek Him, He will guide me in it & protect me through it.
Through advertising & social media, I have felt so much pressure to be a certain way or accomplish certain things to be accepted. This had put enormous pressure on me & at times I have struggled with anxiety & depression. The World teaches us to focus on self, self, self. As a believer I have learned that when I focus on Jesus, I have complete peace knowing that He accepts me just as I am & He can take my broken life & turn it into something beautiful.
As I walk with Him & get to know Him better through His Word & in prayer, He continues to transform me into a person in His likeness & is developing the fruits of the spirit in me which is joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control.
