My Personal Story
God is always with me and has reminded me several times throughout my life that I can’t get through it without Him. I’m thankful for his mercy, grace, and love that surpasses all things. He gives us the gift of eternal life and I am forever grateful, doing my best to share my story with others so they, too can see the goodness of God.
I’m grateful for the gift of eternal life because I know that I can trust God in all things and I feel a sense of peace, knowing that He is always with me.
At the age of 16, when I decided to accept Jesus as my Lord and savior, a lot of my peers were going out and getting involved with the wrong crowds. I remember thinking about their actions and wanting something different for my life. I wanted to be accepted, but not for the wrong reasons. I wanted to please God and be accepted by him, even if it meant doing things differently than my peers.
The peace I experience from God on a daily basis is a sweet reminder of who He is and what He’s done in my life. Since accepting Jesus, I have strayed away numerous times but He always brings me back. His mercy, love, and grace is unending and I know without a doubt that I will spend eternity with Him.
