My Personal Story

I am glad I have eternal life because it gives me confidence and security and I know my purpose.

I deal with anxiety and constant movement, change, and noise contributes greatly to my body reacting. I can remember different periods of time in my life that I was able to stop and pray, and just knowing with confidence that God was there at all times and heard me, gave me the security I needed to be still in those moments. Throughout life when uncertainty hits, I have repeatedly realized that my plans do not always go the way I had wanted or envisioned they needed to go, but I have always found that God's purpose has shined through them and that brings me great peace, while not perfectly, with the next uncertainty I face.

I reflect nightly on the life I have and have lived and always feel such gratitude for the way God's plan has unfolded in my life for me to know Him. I am thankful for the ways He pulls on my heart to continue to learn and grow and become more like Him. I always think of the phrase "please be patient with me, God's not finished with me yet", which brings me the continued comfort and peace knowing that there is purpose for my life and I have eternal life with Him.
