My Personal Journey

I'm glad that I have eternal life because no matter what happens I know with confidence that God is always with me and that gives me the strength to keep on in those difficult times, knowing I have God's Love and the assurance of heaven.

I have always been a people pleaser, as well as needing people to fulfill my needs of acceptance and love,also helping me fix my problems, giving me answers or listening to me talking about my problems. I had high expections of myself and others. I never knew it but one day I found out that I have control issues (a lot of denial/justifying happened) and my circle of people starting changing because their lives were changing and I was not part of that change. This was very hurtful and still struggling with it. I started learning more about God and realized just where I was putting my trust and faith in. Now I know with confidence that God is always there to listen to me, he is never changing and will never leave me. He guides me along my path and forgives me and dust me off when I stumble.

I know that God is still working on me and helping me grow closer to him. In the end all will be to the glory of God and I know without a doubt that one day I will be with him in heaven.
