My Persoal Testimony

Before I found Jesus I went through cancer, saw many of my friends at MD Anderson die of cancer. I went to a Passion Play near my home town of Marietta, Texas , and I saw what Jesus Christ did for me.

Att age 14, I went to Youth Camp at Lone Star Baptist Encampment. I remember the minister talking about Hell and Heaven, and how Jesus Died for me, at that point in time, I walked down the aisle and followed Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.

I walked down the aisle and then received salvation , during one of the services at camp, I realized my need for Christ, and He was the only way to heaven.

I was so excited after being saved, could not wait to tell others about my experience. I was baptized at my local church on a Sunday morning to follow in Christ footsteps.

I am not saying I started living like I should have, I actually did the opposite, of how a Christian should act. I realize now as Christian, with proper discipleship, which I never received, I would have went straight to being saved, to an active Christian life. When I was sophmore in High School our group was practicing the song by Petra, "My First Love". At home one afternoon, I was listening to the song , "First Love", I was actually listening words of the song, and realized I had left my First Love Jesus, I had back to the camp, that I was saved at the year after, I was saved and was asked "Are you still in Love Jesus". With Hesitation , I said , even though I was not living as I should. So that day in my room I prayed, and asked for forgiviness, oh how i weaped because I knew I lost my first Love Jesus Christ. That day He became not only my Savior but my Lord. When I was 17 I surrenedered to ministry, to Preach the gospel.

I know whom I have needed and am persuaded , to keep that which I have committed to Him against that day. I am sealed with God's promise of eternal salvation, I will never look back. I love Paul the apostle said, I am crucified , with Christ no longer that I live , but Christ Liveth in me.
