My New Life in Jesus
I was in a deep depression. The Holy Spirit showed me His light, love, peace, mercy and grace. I was chosen and adopted into God's Holy Family! I am confident that I have eternal life.
Before receiving eternal life I was in poor health and in a deep depression.
After my car accident I was no longer able to work. I was in despair, I no longer had any sense of purpose. I went in to a deep depression. My health issues just got worse. . I could see no way out. I felt helpless
One day my depression was worse than ever. I glanced over at the table and saw the chronological bible, I opened it and read Phillipians 4:6-7.msg "Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Suddenly a pure bight dazzling light appeared, I felt such warmth, as if Jesus had wrapped His loving arms around me and held me in His lap. I felt pure joy, love, comfort, peace and such contentment like I had ever even dreamed of experiencing. . My old self died and I WAS born again. At this point I knew I had eternal life.
Now that I have eternal life I am at peace. I have a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus. I no longer have a fear of death or most anything. I trust in Jesus. I know the Holy Spirit is always with me. I am confident that with Jesus anything is possible.
I have felt Jesus directing my every step. He has put people in my life as I needed them to help me grow in my faith journey. He has told me that I am ready to step out and preach the gospel. HE provided me this wonderful opportunity to guide me, on how to go out and share my faith. He is so awesome. My words cannot even express how grateful and thankful I am to Him.
I am confident in my saving faith. I know without a doubt that when I die I will go to heaven. My goal is to bring as many people as I can with me.
