My Life in Christ

Having low self-esteem & lot of fears, living an empty or no purpose life engulfed my wholeness as a person before I received eternal life. I felt unassured of my future and disappointed with my life situation.

Being raised by a single Mother with two brothers and having a father with another family in another country were things I had to dealt with in my previous life. Everyday, I had to live with the concept that I was born out of wedlock and and even having other brother and sisters that never recognized me as part of them. "Will my life change? Will they learn to accept me? Will I have a life of prosperity, at least having enough to meet my daily needs? " These were few of the questions I had in my young mind.

I was asked to attend a Bible Study by my eldest brother, with no choice I sat and listened to the Pastor sharing bible stories. After attending a few lessons, I took my chances and I accepted Christ as my personal Savior hoping to get a change in my life.

Now that I accepted Christ, He does not just change my life for better but also He gives me a future to look ahead and took away all my fears and insecurities. Those questions were answered. Little by little God put my life into proper places. Starting with my other family's acceptance and acknowledgement as part of them.

With only my Mother taking care of us, we were raised with enough resources and she managed to send us all to school and finished a degree. I am now confident that God is indeed the holder of my future and that he really had plans for me.

Now that I am secured that God has a plan for me, I am confident that He has called me to His purpose to live a life with Him and to share His assurance of salvation to others.
