My Journey to knowing Jesus

Before I received eternal life I lived a life filled with guilt, shame and addictions.

I remember wondering why I couldn't find someone to just love me without wanting anything in return. That quest for unconditional love caused me to fill that emptiness with drugs, alcohol and unhealthy relationships.

One night God allowed me and my friends to witness a woman become demon possessed. That night I was given the choice to serve God or serve the enemy. I chose to serve God and gave my life to Jesus that night.

Once Jesus came into my heart, I began to have a relationship with him. He filled that emptiness and healed my mind, body and spirit.

My transformation was almost immediate from the time I accepted Jesus in my heart. I no longer wanted to drink or do drugs, but most importantly, I felt self-worth. I began to feel valued as a woman and no longer wanted to represent myself in any negative way. My choice of clothing changed, my vocabulary changed and my heart changed. I was finally free.

Although I am not perfect, I know without a doubt that Jesus saved my life for a reason. His promises of grace, forgiveness and love make my life worth living. Until I close my eyes here, I will tell others of his saving grace and unconditional love for his children.
