My Journey
When you are at your lowest point, you are not alone. God is just waiting on you to trust Him with your life.
Before I received eternal life I was self-destructive and without hope for my future.
I remember feeling hopeless. I had lost my job, my husband had left me, and I was displaced from my home. I was miserable and I wanted to give up on life but I knew there had to be a better way to live.
I remembered the words my grandmother repeatedly told me regarding the goodness and love of God. I knew that my problems were beyond my control and that more was riding on the line than just my life. I had a little girl depending on me for food, shelter, clothing, and love.
After I dedicated my life to Christ and received God's gift of eternal life, I realized that my life mattered to the Father. And because of His love I could have hope in my future.
As I moved forward in life, I was able to get a steady job, get my own apartment, and provide for the needs of my daughter. When things got tight, God helped me through each and every situation. Eventually, He sent my husband back home. I begin to put my trust in God and have hope for my future.
I believe in the Word of God and I believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for my sins. As such, I am confident that as the Bible says Jesus has gone to prepare a place for me in heaven. I have no doubt that when I die I am going to heaven. He has not failed me yet!
Your testimony matters too
