My Jesus Story
I was a quarterback and captain at Florida State University. I thought I was above folks and his grace the Lord humbled me and brought me to my knees and to himself!
Before I received eternal life I felt despair and depression.
I remember going to the FSU career center to take an aptitude test to see what I was supposed to be doing with my life at age 29. When I got through with the test I met with a counselor and I was expressing my despair and depression to her about my sexually immoral life. She knew some of my friends in town and went to a local Baptist Church that was involved in Evangelism Explosion. I went to her apartment that night and prayed a prayer to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
I prayed a prayer with the young lady to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior and receive eternal life.
After receiving eternal life it gave me hope.
I started going to church and immediately Jesus lead me to my wife.
36 years later I am confident I will spend eternity with God the Father, Jesus the Son, and The Holy Spirit in Heaven!
