My Jesus story
The word of God assures my salvation and gives me peace daily.
I’m glad I have eternal life because it gives me comfort and joy to know I have assurance of Heaven one day. I have such a peace knowing that God is always with me wherever I go.
I can remember a time when I feared going on a trip with my mom because I was so afraid if I got into a car accident I wouldn’t make it to heaven, but Gods word gave me peace in knowing that I had the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ and that once my eternity was secured, I could never lose that security.
That same peace his word gave me assures me daily that my salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. When I called upon his name, my salvation was secured, as Romans 10:13 so clearly states, “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
