My Inner Peace

I’m grateful for God’s gift of salvation because I have a sense of peace in knowing that I have eternal life.

Growing up, I attended Church but it was more of like a ritual thing we did on Sunday. Then when I was a teenager I went to Church with a friend of the family. I went a few times and the people there seemed different. It was as if they had this inner peace when they spoke of God. That’s when I knew something was missing in my life.

When I accepted Christ as my personal savior at the age of 16, I gained that inner peace in knowing that God will always be with me. I learned to trust in God’s plan for my life and to let him guide me.
