My God Story
The Lord is always with me and is faithful to His promises in the Bible, to finish this work in me that He started.
Before I had a relationship with Jesus, I was independent and tried to fix everything myself, and poorly at best.
My marriage was broken, my husband didn't trust God and I felt hopeless to fix it myself. Even though my marriage ended after 25 years, through faith in Christ, I was able to go to Him for help through Bible study and prayer. Now 10 years later I see the results of His presence, peace and provisions.
Jesus came into my life when I trusted Him for eternal life and He forgave my sins.
Now I have the strength to face my future with the LORD, through His grace and kindness. As a single Mom,I have learned to rely on Gods truths, I don't worry about tomorrow ; I have peace and have come to see my adult kids trust Him too!
After the divorce, my finances were slim and our car was financed above my means, through prayer and the help of my church, I was able to give up the car to the bank and the Lord provided a nice used car for me . God is always faithful.
Even better, the peace in knowing my sins are forgiven and I have a place in Heaven is such a peace and joy. I can fully rely on the Lord for help with my my kids, because He loves them more than I can fathom.
