My First Experience with God

I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was a child. The only thing I remember is that I was zealous, my faith and trust were at the top level. I know that I could do everything through Christ. I knew that I have eternal life, and I had the assurance of heaven. I remember one of my brothers was very sick and the doctor said that he will not survive. My family was very sad and discouraged. I told my mom, my sisters and brothers to believe that with God all things are possible, and I begun praying for Him. I said: God , I know that you have ordered Lazarrus to wake up from the grave after many days that he was dead. I know you have healed the woman with the blood issue. I know You did that to them. You are the same God and will always be the same. If You did it for them, You can do it for my brother. I also remember that You said if you have faith as little as a mustard, you can move a mountain. I have faith, and I trust You Lord, I know You can, I ask You Lord to heal my brother. As soon as I ended my prayer, my brother's faith became radiant, he opened his eyes and told my mother that he feels hungry and wanted to eat. Everybody was surprised. Since then, I became more confident and secure, My faith has grew more. I knew that God is always there for me, He will always be there for me. Since then I made it a pattern, a lifestyle to bring everything to God by prayers.

I was a very quiet person. When I was a teenager, I did not have many friends because, I never went to clubs, I refused many invitations to go to parties. People from my age saw me a as wield girl, they always told me that I have to enjoy my life. I remember one day, I was invited to a carnival event, I declined, they made fun of me by saying, that I am gonna miss the best part of my life. I don't feel that I miss anything because I am happy that I have this relationship with God. I praise Him and feel honored that I belong to God, He is my refuge, He is my Comfort. He never leaves, nor forsakes me.

The constant hope and peace that I have everyday in my life conveys me that God loves me so much, and He is pleased with me. Therefore I know for sure that I have eternal life, and I will be in heaven with God some day.
