My Fiancé died and God redeemed my loss.
God doesn’t take anything away from us without giving us something better in return. I thank God every day that he changed my situation for the better. I’m not where I want to be, but thank you Lord that I’m where I need to be! God is good, just trust him.
I am a believer. I know who I am in Christ and I love God with everything in me. I have a level of peace and my fear of death is gone.
Though, in my life, it’s not always been so peaceful. A little over a year ago, my faith was shaken to the core. My fiancé was killed. He was a preacher, a great man of God who led many souls to Christ. I couldn’t understand why God would take him away from this world. I didn’t know why God took him away from me, because I had done nothing wrong. This lead me down a path of hatred towards God. I wanted nothing more to do with Jesus, because I felt that he lied to me. I was promised a husband and he took him away from me the day I got my wedding dress, so I stopped obeying God. I made sure that he knew I was done with him and continued on a path that led to psychics, tarot cards, and such ungodly things. I clung to these things because they were actually giving me answers. I had an understanding of why things happened the way they did when coming from the psychic, without realizing that the devil was lying to me through that person. This opened up dangerous doors that led to Satan attacking me in various ways. I was mad at God for almost an entire year, but recently, I returned back home and repented for my stupid decisions and disobedience.
When I repented, the weight of the world was lifted off of my shoulders. I learned an extremely valuable lesson, which is to never run from God. God has since redeemed me. I wrote about about my experience and it’s currently available for pre-sale now via my Etsy shop if you’re interested. https://www.etsy.com/listing/700504607/pre-order-signed-copy-of-fourteen-day?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=fourteenday+fiance&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1
