My continuing journey.
Because of the lack of faith, I did not have a good relationship with God. After realizing, he had overlooked my short comings and keep me through some bad and dangerous situation, my faith increased and increased. I now know beyond any doubt that Jesus is Lord and my salvation is assured.
Before I received eternal life was I lacking in real true faith. In short, I did the proper and correct things as a christian but, never seem to be able to walk by faith.
After looking back over all the situations that I had gone through and survived. It became painfully clear that God was not only covering me but, he was keeping me. As my faith got stronger, my relationship grew and grew....but more importantly....It is still growing.
As my faith grew, my understanding of the word of God greatly increased and created assurance. From that point forward, I have been both inspired and driven to walking in salvation. It was my "Damascus Road" experience.
Now having the assurance of eternal life, I am able to walk in salvation.
One morning I woke up with a vivid memory of what I though was a dream. However, it was confirmed to be a vision of a holly worship event that could only have occurred in Heaven.
I have the assurance through the acceptance of Jesus as Lord, I will go to heaven when I die.
