My Christian Testimony
Finding Christ
Before I got saved and became born again I had no thoughts about God or my life having a purpose. I have made mistakes and I had no where to turn. I felt lost and I was so in sin I was a liar, a Heavy Marijuana user, A drinker, a fornicator, a porn watcher, a thief, and I made some pretty bad choices. I did not know God.
There was a point where I was close to meeting death in my early 20s. I was smoking a blunt that was laced with something and I felt a horrible pain in my heart, like it was about to explode. So I dropped on my knees and cried out “Jesus save me” and the pain went away. I will never forget that. I knew Jesus had saved my life. It also put the fear of God in me.
I wanted to get saved and start living right. But it took another few years for me to make changes in my life. I was still making some bad choices that included throwing temper tantrums sometimes in public, kept smoking and drinking, and being sexually immoral I was consumed by lust. The Lord opened my eyes that I needed to start living better and repent. Christ has been doing something in me.He has cleaned me up inside. I no longer live in those sins. I now live in Truth.
Now that I’m a born again Christian my faith has brought obedience to Gods word and I have freedom. Jesus has changed my life. I’m learning to trust God more, I’m sober, I’m not doing pre marital sex and not looking at pornography,no masturbation, have started praying a lot more than I ever have , I listen to mostly Christian music, I’m studying the Bible more, living in truth, treating people better and have gotten baptized. The Lord put it upon me to share my story to others. Even if I fall into any of these past sins I know I can go to God and sincerely ask for forgiveness and start over again. For the righteous falls seven times and rises again. God has also helped me through a time of mourning my dads passing. It’s tough losing a parent, but Jesus is right there with me. On a good note my mom had a terrible addiction to alcohol but she has been sober for a while and for the first time in my life i believe that she will not go back to being a drinker. She expresses that it’s hard sometimes but she gives credit to God for pulling her out of Alcoholism.
I have totally surrendered my life to Christ and he told me my purpose was to tesitify about him. I hope my testimony reaches somebody.and encourages them. No matter how great your sins are , Jesus will forgive you if you repent. We know there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, surrender yourself to him and he will help clean your life up and give you freedom
God and I have been through a lot of things he has always been right there with me. I am sure I am washed by the blood of the lamb and have eternal life in Jesus Christ. Jesus saves and has changed my life. He changed my heart I am no longer a liar, somebody who practices sexual immorality, gets drunk or high, I’m learning to trust Jesus and I am under better self control now. I don’t steal anymore either. Jesus changed my life and the glory goes to him. Trust in Jesus. Keep fighting he will come through don’t lose faith. Hallelujah.
