My 2017 Testimony

I'm glad I have eternal life through Christ Jesus because I have the assurance of Heaven and can access a Faith that can move mountains here on earth.

I recall deciding to leave my first job, so by faith I applied to a job in the rural part of Jamaica while still living in Kingston (urban area). I got the job offer, and I accepted. Usually I would have been fearful & thought about what I could possibly lose, but I decided to trust in God, and man was it worth it! Did I mention that I wasn't driving at the time and I would have had to take the bus all the way there everyday?! It turns out that when I accepted the job offer, a friend of mine introduced me to a colleague that works at the same company, and that guy drives and also lives 7 minutes away from my house! He would have to pass my house to get to work in the mornings. He willingly picked me up from home and took me to work (i.e. the new job) and back everyday until I got my drivers license and my car 6 months later. Faith brought about so many changes in a small space of time including a significant salary increase from my old job. I am truly thankful to God: I prayed and believed, and by faith it all came to pass - even better than I expected.

Just as how my faith in God has brought about positive changes in my life, so too I am confident that faith in Jesus has given me eternal life, and I will see God one day.
