More steps in His direction

Every since I gave my heart to Christ at a young age, I've always known that I have a part in His plan. God has faithfully let me know what He wants and that's given me purpose in life... to glorify Him in all that I do.

My childhood and teenage years weren't spent in typical rebellion, they were more steps in God's direction. Until I went on my own to college. It was there my faith was tested and shaken for the first time as a result of one of my best friends being involved in a car accident. I remember praying with faith and knowing that God would save and heal my friend, Matt... until he died. The next year was spent in uncertainty and rebuilding my faith from the ground up. My faith became not what my parents taught me, but my own.

As a result of my friends death, I was able to see God at work in my life, and the lives of so many others. After a period of time I was given a peace knowing that God was in control, just like he was as I was a child. This peace also gives me confidence that I have eternal life through Christ's sacrifice, and that I will be with God even after I die.
