Michele Valentine’s Story
Trusting in myself brought me nothing but anxiety, depression and a sense of doom. Trusting in what Jesus has done for me has brought me peace, hope and a future I could feel joyful about. I pray that others will receive the gift of eternal life and join me and millions of others that are now in the family of God.
Before I had eternal life, I had a lot of guilt and shame that caused me great anxiety and depression. I had fear about dying and where I would go.
I was a single mom with two children to care for and I just didn’t know how I would take care of myself let alone my children as well.
I was invited to church by a neighbor while my young kids were away visiting their dad in another state. I received the gift of eternal life that night.
Once I received eternal life and I knew where I was going if I were to die, I became confident in who God created me to be. I had a peace that I had never experienced before and I’m so thankful for that!
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002. Resting in knowing my eternal destiny helped me cope with my illness and despite the dire situation, I still had peace.
MS will last for my entire life. I have had it for over 21 years already. One thing I know for sure is that after I take my last breath here on earth, I will be in the presence of my Lord and Savior Jesus, the Christ.
