Meaning in Good Stewardship
From never enough to more than enough.
Before I received eternal life, I felt empty, alone, and full of discontentment.
Above all things, I chased money and acceptance from strangers through work but could never fill the void I felt inside. I spent long hours at work trying to find status and success, missing valuable time with my family.
My search for meaning and purpose led me to a men's bible study, where I met a gentleman who asked two simple questions that changed my life. After sharing his experience of receiving eternal life, he told me how I could also know my eternal destiny.
Since receiving the gift of eternal life, I've found meaning and purpose right at home.
Today, I find the most joy in learning to be a good steward of God's most precious gifts: my kids. Being present at soccer games, gymnastic competitions, and school events, helping with homework, throwing a frisbee out back, or doing a family activity during a free weekend is what I look forward to and enjoy most.
Even more spectacularly, I have an assurance that when I die, I will spend eternity in heaven with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
