Marsha Collins Personal Testimony
Thankful for Gods Grace
Before I received eternal life, I had so many worries, anxiety, and I felt so alone. I was a young mother surrounded by friends and family. Yet I still felt a void, like something was missing in my life.
I recall having a really bad car accident. I was leaving class and was having trouble starting my car. As I was driving home, my car stalled as I was crossing a major road. All I could see was this pickup truck coming toward me. I felt helpless anticipating the impact which spun and flipped me around. All I could think about is where will I end up if I die? What about my daughter? What will happen to her?
After my car accident, I began not only regularly attending but also joined church. I am grateful for Gods grace and mercy. And EE has been a blessing because it has helped me growing more in faith. Just to have someone share with me and allow me to share the good news of how to receive and know I have eternal life. My life has been different. I have a new life perspective. I don't have all that anxiety or worry about tomorrow, and I no longer feel alone.
Now that I have eternal life I don't have the fear or worry about what will happen if I die.
I find that I have inner peace about life. I experienced some health concerns a few years ago. The doctors could not figure out exactly what was going on why my blood count levels were low. I remained positive and prayerful in the midst of things. I refused a treatment I agreed on because that was not where my heart was leading. Going a different route I was sent to a specialist that preformed hysterectomy surgery diagnosing and removing endometrial cancer that same day. In the midst of the doctors visits and surgery I had peace. I stand, being told I have cancer, 6 years later with the same peace for eternal life.
I am thankful for knowing if I were to die today that I have the promise of eternal life.
