Marine Finds Peace

Before surrendering my life to Jesus I was full of anger had no peace in my life.

I grew up in a broken home and had issues with authority. I didn't like others telling me what to do. I thought I knew it all. While in the Marines, my anger and pride got me in some serious trouble with my command.

I finally hit bottom and was ready for a change. Then I surrendered my life to Christ through a simple prayer and I have never been the same!

Now that I have a relationship with Jesus, I also have peace. I am not full of anger anymore.

Over and over I have seen the peace of God move in my life and help me to overcome in areas where I would generally be angry. I remember a few days after surrendering my life to Christ a drunk Marine trying to fight me. I didn't even feel angry as he cursed and pushed me, I actually felt God's love for him.

I am so glad that I asked Jesus to save me from my sins. I now have the peace of God that passes all understanding. I know that He lives in me and one day I will meet Him face to face.
