Marie's Personal Testimony

Before I received external life is felt emptiness/no purpose, fear of death and something missing in life

I remember when I was 16 yrs old living with my mom who was an alcoholic and thinking there has to be more to life then this life. I always knew I never wanted to have a life like my mom's because it was depressing and stressful. I decided I had to get out of that environment and moved into my grandparents house. It's then I started going to church with my cousins and brother. That's when I first experience God in my life.

At that church I received a great support group which helped me have a better relationship with god and a better understanding.

Now that I have eternal life I no longer fear death and now I realize to continue to have him my life I must commit to him all the time so he can guide me to make the right decisions in life.

I have had many deaths that happened over time in my family and I was able to be strong enough to pull through it. I know God help me through it.

If I was to die right now I believe I would go to heaven because I truly believe in him and know I cannot live without him in my life. I am not perfect, but I know he knows I am always trying to be a better person.
