Christ has given me new life and a salvation that I do not have to earn. He provides for me every day, and loves me enough that He died for me, completely washing me clean of my sins.
I am overwhelmed by God's unconditional and endless love for His children
I have always felt a legalistic pressure to be disciplined and not fall into sin. Whenever I did fall into sin, I would despair and feel as if I could not come to God because of this stain of sin. God has consistently reminded me that through His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave three days later, I have been given new life and have been completely washed clean of my sin. There is no need to feel as if we are stained by sin when His mercies are new every morning.
The debt for my sins has been completely covered by Christ's death and resurrection. I am in a loving relationship with my Creator, and I will one day dwell in heaven with him forever.
