Love changed everything.
From my childhood beliefs of seek my happiness now before dust and ashes return to a graveyards pine box. To a life being filled of treasures beyond food and shelter now, and I have Jesus the author and creator of life living inside me with True Life as well as eternal hope of life beyond comparison and with unimaginable joy in the future.
Before I received Jesus as my Savior my thoughts and actions were completely self centered. My values and perspectives were shaped only by my parents world views.
My early years required our family to attend numerous funerals of distant relatives, and one of my grandfathers as well. Without instructions or counsel from my parents I developed a hopeless view of existence concluding life ended at the pine boxes and graveyards.
My thinking was without church or the Bible’s influences until family coworkers invited my parents to a local church. After a few years the preacher shared with me the story of a savior. At around 13 years of age I accepted forgiveness from Christ Jesus.
In my early adult life I began to understand the importance of putting other people’s needs before my own
After 3 years of marriage, expecting my first child’s arrival I had experience from the Good Shepherd. Through a chain of events Jesus put a burden on my heart to raise my child in church and instruct her in God’s ways.
Jesus through time of studying the Bible and seeking to do and live out what it says helped me realize He and I had a relationship. Further more the quality of this relationship is permanent, unshakable and unbreakable.
