LIVING IN THE GREY
Living in the grey. Before we are awoken everything seems to be normal until God shakes us. We find the normal is not how life should be. We find gray areas have purpose that we have a purpose in life we become lifelong learners in Christ.
Normal. What is it?
Looking back exactly what was it? It was what I was trying to survive in. Growing up in a non a-Christian home, an alcoholic/workaholic dad and a angry mother. With no boundaries growing up I went onto meeting people as a teen who got me into youth group at our local church. From there I went onto dropping out of school, one failed relationship with 2 children. I became married to a different woman and had another set of children. My marriage only lasted 7 years. In the tail end of that marriage I found my wife had been having an affair and then after just 5 months of separation was pregnant with the mans baby. Still with no God in my life , a house that was gutted for a remodel and a marriage that ended I found myself laying on the floor of this house broken and suicidal. I began to feel a warm ember smoldering inside me. I felt a voice say “get up”. (Sparrow;)) I got up and began my walk through the “wicket gate” that lies on the narrow path. Normal was just that. But I did not want to be the “norm” I wanted to be free and loved like I’ve never been loved before. Renewing of my mind and of my soul; the journey began.
I was awoken. My life changed through the renewal of my mind and soul. Jesus who is Christ, my Lord, and my savior. Through He I will inherit external life.
Awoken to a new life with a purpose, I have given myself to God through Jesus Christ. I’m doing so Sharing my testimony I hope will lead me to sharing the gospels and to save souls.
I had been in a position where I had to let go of two children. I let go let God. It was unsettling however I had faith that in doing so would better our relationship. I was at peace with it after prayer.like the story of Solomon with the 2 mothers. I no longer wanted to place my children I’m the middle so I let them go.
I feel the Holy Spirit and have been lead into and out of situations. God has also given me discernment. God has given me a promise and a savior who is Jesus the one and only messiah. Through Him I inherit eternal life . Amen!!!
