Like Riding A Bike
My earthly father gave peace, security, and assurance on a bike ride, and know my Heavenly Father is giving me the same thing throughout my life and I know when I die I will go to heaven.
I am glad I have eternal life because I know God is always with me, I have peace, and assurance that when I die I will go to heaven.
When I was little I was afraid to ride my bike because I didn't want to fall. When my dad saw how afraid I was he began to help me ride my bike. He would hold on to my bike while I would pedal and when he knew I was ready he would let go. Having my dad help me ride my bike gave me peace, security, and assurance because I knew he wouldn't let me fall. Even when he let me go I still had peace, assurance,and security because even though I couldn't see him while I was riding my bike I knew if I fell he would be there for me and help me up again and again no matter how many times I fell.
The same peace, assurance, and security my earthly father gave me when I rode my bike, is the same peace, assurance, and security I feel everyday of my life because I know God will never leave me and will always be there for me and because of that love I know when I die I will go to heaven.
