Life with Truth
I couldn’t go back even if I wanted to—and I don’t even know why I ever would. If I want to hear from God, I read his word. If truth is truth… what would you do?
After my baptism, I became more active. I did some street preaching, taught Sunday school, and attended church three times a week.
In February 2013, I came to understand that every word of God is true. The Word of God is not just a truth, nor just merely a good way to live. After reading the entire Bible in three months, I realized that all of history—what was, what is, and what will be—is contained within its narrative, whether I agree with it or not, whether I like it or not. Once I saw that, I have never been able to unsee it. The Bible is not just true—it defines truth.
The Lord has made me zealous for His Word, and there is no turning back or giving up. Through His Word, the Gospel became beautiful, my understanding of who God is and what this world is —with its distractions, its slavery, and its desires— has grown strangely dim.
