Life with God on My Side
Not only do I have the assurance of eternal life with God, but I also have Him to talk to, and to guide me through this life, here on earth.
Having eternal life with God gives me a sense of purpose, fulfillment, and a deep sense of joy, even through life's darkest times.
I have lost my home three times in my life, once due to divorce, and twice more because my second husband got cancer, and we lost everything. Each time, all of our belongings were in storage, while we stayed with family and friends. My finances are still affected by these events, but, even when we didnt know how or where we would live, there was an underlying sense of God's purpose for my life, and a joy that was greater than my fears and sadness.
I know that God was with me in each of those situations, and that He answered our prayers in more ways than we can see at this time. Someday, when I'm in Heaven with Him, I'll understand how He walked with me through every difficult event in my life.
