Life: To Glorify My Savior
I have always been driven to go to church. My granny encouraged me and would come to my house to get me. I enjoyed youth, VBS, and other activities. I wanted to go and be in church. I knew for some reason going was just "right". I love to talk with God, read scriptures, books, and devotionals and pray to Him. He is y strength and my rock!
Eternal life with God is forever and always, there is no better purpose in life than to trust in God's plan and believe His way is secure.
As a teenager and young adult I gave into the pressure of "fitting in" with the party crowd. Even though I was saved at a young age this pressure became pleasure that ended up making me unhappy and unfulfilled. I always longed for something more and I knew I was not living my life the way God intended.
I know that I was saved in VBS on commencement night. A deacon of the church asked me if I wanted to get saved and I said Yes! So, I went to the altar and prayed. I was baptized in the lake behind the church the next day. I know that Jesus died on the cross for all my sins and rose on the third day and is ALIVE today. His plan for my life is to follow Him and lead others to Christ through my life testimony.
Your testimony matters too
