Learning to trust God

Before I received eternal life, I was constantly worried about things in my life I couldn't control.

I remember having fear about being laid off from my job, wondering how I was going to pay bills, and take care of my family's basic needs.

Then I discovered that I had eternal life and the benefits of being a child of God. I realized that God was my source and that job was just a resource. God let me knew, whatever the outcome, He would provide, I just had to trust Him.

Now I no longer have a spirit of fear. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is always with me and I trust Him in every situation. That gives me peace.

My employer has had at least 3 major lay offs. And I am still there 10 years later, actually in a better position, making a higher salary. People with more seniority and less seniority have been dismissed and I am still standing.

I am living an abundant life and I know for certain in my daily walk Jesus is with me and if I were to die tonight I would be with Him in heaven.
