Knowing Jesus

Learning about Jesus and accepting Him as my savior transformed my live because I learned about true forgiveness. Although I made mistakes along the way, forgiveness and the power of God's love has always kept me focus, and brought me back to the Lord. Knowing God and his love, and what he has done for me, has inspired me to share the Gospel with others.

I remember being asked was I saved? I responded by saying, "I attend PVBC." The gentlemen asked me was I saved? I responded the same way. After thinking about his question, I knew I was saved, but I needed to be able to share the evidence of my salvation and know that salvation was more than having church membership. Remembering that account has helped me become a more committed witness for sharing the Gospel.

Knowing Jesus is the most important lesson one could learn about salvation. Eternal life should be our greatest assurance because the consequences are so great when we don't know that we have eternal life. In the most easiest terms, we can know that we have life by knowing, "He that has the Son has life, and he that has not the Son, has not life."
