Knowing ABOUT Jesus, to KNOWING Jesus

Before I received eternal life through Jesus Christ, I was someone that seemed like they knew all about Christianity and lived as a "good person", but deep down I was arrogant and prideful.

I remember I would always think I was sharing the Gospel with people when I would ARGUE politics and what I believed . It was always a "show you I'm right, and you are wrong" ordeal. I was hard, acting like I walked with genuine humility and kindness.

When I was 16, I was at a difficult point in my life. I was feeling at my wits end and I wanted it to end and didn't see any point or purpose to my life, because I was so hard on the inside and had no genuine relationship with Jesus. Then I met Him. I didn't meet a Christian teaching, a good idea, concept, or religion. The Holy Spirit made Jesus real to me by touching me with His love and it made me truly be reborn.

Now that I am following Jesus and walking with Him, I am figuring out what this life is all about. I get to live a life of purpose that is greater than just simply helping people or being a good person, but actually walking with God and giving Him away to others that they may experience Him as well.

Instead of looking for people to argue with, I now simply share Jesus with others. I have a God-given passion to see people walk free from sin that weighs them down, shame that hovers over them, and regret from their past wrongs. I want to share with people that they may experience REAL life in Christ and REAL freedom from all the mess the world offers.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will spend eternity with God when I die because I have been given eternal life through Jesus . I am thankful that I will get to be close to God and be in eternal joy for all eternity when I die.
