Ken’s Spiritual Journey
I was a sinner lost with no hope. God drew me to Himself. He forgave my sins by showing me His mercy and His grace. Now I am a child of God with a Heavenly hope. For it’s no longer I who live but He (Jesus) who lives in me. Thank you Jesus for Saving me!
I was a very selfish and prideful individual. I sought things that pleased me and fed my ego
I remember visiting with my brother in ATL and some friends. We didn’t do any bad things, so I thought. Until the consequences of those actions came to fruition Addictions/habits Disappointment's Grief/shame
My wife and I were experiencing issues early in our marriage. We spoke and determined we needed God in our life. She was invited by her co-worker to church. I went with her and we became regular attenders. I came to Christ in a Bible study group. I discovered Jesus and all His magnificent glory.
Now that I have eternal life I seek to know Christ better. I want to find my rightful place in His Kingdom. Now I feel His presence in me. He leads me down His righteous path.
As I engage in the world around me I see it through biblical eyes. I have always loved people however I see people differently. I see them as Jesus sees them, as images of God.
I know that my life is not my own. Jesus has purchased my sin debt penalty. He has a place set up for me in Heaven. I long to be with my Savior and all my family and friends that have died in Him.
