Josh's Story

Before i received Christ as my Savior, I was attending church as a high school student just pretending to play the part of a Christian. I was faking a relationship with Jesus. It was as though my life had no purpose in life.

I was smart enough and wondered what would happen to me after I died without accepting Jesus as my Savior.

Then I realized the only person I was fooling was myself. I realized, "Why should I walk around acting like a Christian without all the benefits of being a disciple of Christ Jesus."

Now I know for sure that not only do I claim to be a Christian on the outside, but I know without a doubt that I have eternal life and Jesus is preparing a place in Heaven for me. I am a child of the One True King!

On a deployment to Afghanistan, while I was in the Air Force, our aircraft was being targeted with automatic rifles and small arms ammunition. It was a frightful and tense experience, but I knew that in the midst of the turmoil, that if I died on that plane, I knew I would be with Jesus. For nothing can separate me from the love of Christ.

Jesus said in John 10:10, "The thief only comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it abundantly." Jesus not only offers an abundant life for eternity, but He offers this kind of abundant life NOW!
