JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL
Through my story, God has painted a picture of redemption and reconciliation. My Lord as flooded my heart with grace and mercy. The Gospel as set me free and I now will have a eternal life.
Before I received salvation, I was a drug addict and very deceived self centered person.
I remember when I hit rock bottom, I didn't care if I went to jail or died, I was just tired of being tired.
I cried out for help and asked Jesus to take the wheel. He picked me up and put me back on solid ground. I woke up the next morning and threw my needles away. I reached out on social media and ole buddy reached out to me and shared the gospel with me.
I woke up the very next morning and threw my needles away and The Lord surrounded me with some Godly men who started discipling me and I started trusting God with all my heart and I quit leaning into my understanding. I have been overwhelm by His grace.
After I cried out to the Lord, 3 days later I received a phone call from the state of Missouri,(I live in Mississippi)and they told me my 2 boys have been placed in foster care. They were 3 & 4 at the time but within 5 months the Lord reconciled them with me,2 days before Christmas. I always tell everyone that was the best Christmas present I ever got and the most expensive Christmas present I ever got. Proverbs 21:1- A king's heart is like channeled water in the Lord's hand; He directs it wherever He chooses. This verse gave me so much peace, that the Lord was in control and not the judge who granted me full custody of my boys.
There is not even a shadow of doubt in my mind that I will spend eternity with Jesus Christ in Heaven. I am the evidence of God, just not because the transformation of my life but the transformation of my families life since. Since I've been saved my sister, brother in-law, 2 nieces, my mother and step father have accepted Christ as Lord. And my oldest son who is now 8yrs. old is baring fruit of the spirit. God is so Faithful. Not to mention this family comes from backgrounds of alcoholism and drug addiction.
