Jesus Still Performs Miracles

Before making Jesus number one, I followed new age doctrine and believed in myself instead of the one true savior. I was deceived by the new age and blinded deeper by the heavy intake of drugs. I had no true answer for salvation but, I was to blind to see the importance in the things God had placed for my life. My arrogance and self driven destiny drew me further from God.

I knew Jesus was calling me back every time I dove deeper into new age philosophy and he longed for me to come back to him. I thought I was controlling my own destiny, thus elevating my consciousness. I was only drifting further away from God as I bought into this lie of the new age.

I believe now the Lord was giving me a final call home when, I walked for 7 hours in the freezing cold with no shoes. I ran in fear of another drug charge in the middle of the winter. Right before I started my walk in the snow all night long I prayed to God to guide me home and that he did! This was strange at the time for I had almost believed in humans being Gods to some degree. I had no clue where I was walking for the entire night with frozen wet socks only on. However I did not doubt the Lord or even think about him for quite some time after, he brought me all the way home. After 7 hours! Although I had 3rd degree frostbite he kept me safe from cops, and guided me home, he also healed my feet entirely! Having no blood flow in them to begin with at all! What a loving Savior.

I still had many steps to bring me to the relationship that I know have with the Lord. Now I have a true relationship with the Lord, I have sense turned from the new age, stopped doing drugs, and drawn closer and closer to God as he has drawn me closer to him! Looking back I know that it was all the heavenly Father's will and, that he will never forsake me, no matter how distant I drew away from him.

Throughout going against God in my high school age I know Jesus always had protected me, and saved me from terrible trouble so many times looking back at it! What grace and unfailing love he gives. What a savior to save a wretch like me. I know that this whole time it was God's plan working out in my life and I am forever thankful for his deep love. I may had become spiritually blind, and deaf to Jesus into a false spiritual state of the new age lifestyle. However Jesus still preforms miracles.

Sense then Jesus has broke me from the chains of sin and I love keeping his commands, I now know what it's like to have an intimate relationship with Jesus! Nothing could ever pluck me from his hand.
