Jesus Saves

Before I met with Jesus, I was an ordinary young man, hanging on the corner with the bigger boys, drinking alcohol and cursing periodically.

Ever so often, I felt guilty of the way I used to live. This guilt was because I grew up with a Grandmother, who always taught me right from wrong, she told me about Jesus, and encouraged me to go to Sunday School.

I remembered attending a open-air crusade in my neighborhood. The Preacher made an altar call to which I responded and give my life to Jesus.

Now that I have eternal life, I do not drink alcohol nor curse anymore. There is a peace that Jesus gave to me , which removed all of the guilt I felt in the past.

Just a few months after I gave my life to Jesus, I was diagnosed with Malaria, after two week of being ill at home, thinking I had the common flu. I took medication for two days then I started fasting and praying. When I returned for my check-up and second portion of medication, the Doctors said that they couldn't find any Malaria in my blood. Jesus miraculously healed me, and from that day there has never been another sign of Malaria in my body.

Today my life has purpose and I am confident of a bright future with Jesus being the core of all my endeavors. Should I die now, I am assured eternal life with Jesus in heaven.
