Before I received eternal life I was living to satisfy my worldly desires

I remember feeling lonely , empty and ashamed

Then I discovered I have eternal life and God freed me from guilt

Now that I have eternal life I have peace in knowing what awaits for me in death

The other night I heard someone quote a verse and it gave me so much peace “ To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” I no longer fear death

I know for certain that if I die today I will be in the presence of God and I’m so thankful someone shared with me that we can be confident in knowing we will be in heaven
