JESUS SAVED MY LIFE!

Before I came to know the saving grace of Jesus I struggled immensely with addiction to elicit drugs.

I had always struggled with depression and anxiety, feeling worthless and with no purpose. I began at a young age to use substances as a way of escape. By the time I was 20 I began experimenting with stronger drugs and that's when the very real physical/mental addiction wrapped itself around me and pulled me down into the depths of my own personalized hell. It had no intentions of ever letting me go.

My journey to Jesus saving grace took time. I knew God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit were real, I just didn't understand how to just stop using. God saved me, it was all HIM and nothing to do with me. By His saving grace he saw fit to bless me with a child. When I realized I was pregnant my life began to change rather rapidly. I got cleaned up and started living right. It wasn't until after my baby was born and I was having great difficulty in my marriage and not knowing if I could handle life another minute, that's when I cried out to Jesus to come take my heart and do what he would with me. Then I was periodically shown just who God Is!!

He knows us by name, the hairs on our head are numbered, He knew us before the foundations of the Earth were created! He loves us! He knows us! He knit us together in our mother's womb! I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

No matter what comes my way, I know God is in control, His will be done. He rebukes His children because He loves them. Count it all joy my brethren. This small blip in time will be nothing compared to what we can expect when eternity comes!

I am washed in the blood of Jesus, the Holy Spirit resides in me, He is my helper, God in Heaven promises the those who believe in Jesus, confess that they are a sinner, and turn to repentance, have eternal life with Him. The proof that I am saved lies in my relationship with God. It has nothing to do with me but everything to do with Him! Amen!
